Work With Me

This isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about creating space to see clearly again.

If something here resonates, we can explore it together—simply, honestly, and at your pace.

1:1 Guidance

A calm, grounded space to talk through what you’re experiencing—without pressure, without judgment, and without needing to have the right words.

Sometimes clarity comes quickly. Sometimes it unfolds. Either way, you don’t have to force it. Click the link below or email thehumilitykey@gmail.com.

The Humility Key is a simple philosophy built around a powerful idea: humility is not weakness or dimming oneself. It is clarity. When we stop defending the ego and begin seeing reality honestly, dramatic transformation happens. Life becomes lighter. Relationships soften. Curiosity replaces judgment. Connection becomes natural instead of forced.

Why I Started

Like many people, I spent years believing humility meant making myself smaller. Staying quiet. Trying to fit into expectations.

But suddenly, I began to see humility differently. Not as shrinking, but as clarity. When we stop obsessing over how we perform in life and begin simply to participate in life, our whole frame of reference shifts. Conversations become easier. Decisions become clearer. And the pressure to constantly perform begins to dissolve. The illusion of separation fades. Our made-up narratives are seen for what they are: Made-up stories, complete with hero and villain, a terrible injustice, and a few facts sprinkled in to make it look real. Then, the Truth of our common condition becomes so clear, you wonder how you ever missed it.

The Humility Key grew out of that realization.

Understanding Spirituality

  • Listen and Learn: Every individual has unique spiritual beliefs, our own corner of the Universe. I take the time to understand what spirituality means to each person I encounter.
  • Respect Diverse Beliefs: Whether a person follows a particular religion, practices mindfulness, or seeks a connection to nature, I approach each belief with openness and respect.

Connecting with People

  • Creating a Safe Space: I encourage people to express their thoughts and feelings regarding spirituality without judgment. There is so much to contemplate.
  • Guided Conversations: I use gentle prompts to help patients articulate their beliefs and what a Higher Power means to them. Questions like “What brings you peace?” can open doors to deeper discussions.

Practices to Enhance Spiritual Care

  • Mindfulness and Meditation: I introduce techniques that people can use to connect with their Higher Power or find inner peace. Whether it’s your Higher Power or Higher Self, we will get you connected.
  • Prayer and Reflection: I offer to pray with a people or encourage them to reflect on their beliefs in a way that feels comfortable. Or at least guide you on your way until it does become comfortable.

Role as a Spiritual Guide

  • Facilitator of Healing: Helping people connect with their spirituality can lead to emotional and psychological healing in addition to physical recovery. Studies have repeatedly shown a healthy, connected frame of mind statistically leads to better patient outcomes. I am a retired ER nurse and cannot legally give medical advice. But I can give you insight and knowledge. I can share generally what I’ve seen. And I can help you unblock. You have all you need already (it’s so cliché, but it’s really true). I just help you find it.
  • Continuous Learning: I stay informed about different spiritual practices and beliefs to enhance your ability to support others in their journeys. I am certified in hypnotherapy for self-improvement, and I am getting my Reiki certification. I am always looking for different modalities to help guide my people.

I write about humility not as a theory, but as a lived experience — something that quietly transforms the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world.
